Over the past few months I’ve met so many different types of bloggers on this platform. It is the support I got from some amazing bloggers that has kept me hooked on to writing. But I’ve had a brush with so many kinds of bloggers – some good experiences and some plain funny. Here are 5 types of bloggers that I’m sure everyone has met along their blogging journey –
The ‘Attention Seeker’ Blogger
We’ve all met this kind – who burst into your notifications for all of two minutes and then disappear forever (get sucked into some sort of a blackhole?). That blogger who in under 1 minute will like all your posts to get your attention to their own blog but will never interact with you after!
The ‘McDreamy’ Blogger
The blogger whose posts make you wish you had a way with words like they do. Their every post elicits a sigh from deep within you – wishing you had written those words instead of them. They write so well that you’re instantly transported from your world into theirs be it poems, stories, travelogues or general life posts.
The ‘Popular Cheerleader/Jock’ Blogger
Bloggers with way more followers than I can ever even dream of having. The ones who makes you feel like you’re the awkward new outsider and they’re a part of the most popular clique in high school. You dream to be them, you want to be them, you hope to be a part of their clique!
The ‘I’ll Be There For You’ Blogger
The best kind of bloggers – who genuinely read your content and engage with you on your posts. The ones whose comments you look forward to on your posts and you’re disappointed when you don’t see their comments (their lack of comment reinforces the fact that your post sucks).
The ‘Spiritual Guru’ Blogger
The blogger who has achieved a state of nirvana and preaches through their posts about how to improve your life. The one whose posts makes you doubt if you’re doing anything right in your life. Their ‘5 Steps to Success’ post makes it feel like being successful is just THAT easy. Even though their posts make your thoughts spiral you are still intrigued into reading their content every time they post.

How true! I’ve come across so many ‘Attention seeker’, bloggers. Some of them turn up to read my posts but few completely vanish after liking.😂
I think that’s the reason, the no of followers and the likes always have a difference.
I do love those ‘Ill be there for you’, bloggers. Coz, they judge our writing and leave comments about it.

Honestly, your posts are McDreamy for me! Your posts are so fun and funny – something I try doing too but very rarely get right.

Omg this is so funny and relatable! I have come across all of these types lol. I don’t know which one I’d be but most likely the “I’ll be there for you” blogger alongwith a tiny dash of vanishing down the abyss type. I try to genuiney read the content of people I follow but sometimes I get distracted and then it becomes so hard to go back to everyone’s old posts and read them to catch up with their new posts that I admit I sometimes skip and read the new ones directly 🙈🙈🤦♀️
But apart from my sudden onsets of withdrawals I think I would love to be that blogger whose posts make you feel aah relatable and then comforts the reader that you’re not alone. 🖤☺☺

I totally relate with you! I also vanish for a few days every other week and when I’m back I find it hard to catch up with all posts but I try. But I love how we’re all there for each other, commenting and picking each other up! ☺️
