*A lot of you loved part 1 and I had so much fun writing it that I decided to a continuation. If you haven’t read part 1 of this blog you can check it out here.*

While 2020 wasn’t a great year for achievements but I am super proud of finally taking time out for this blog. I’ve had this blog for a few years but other than writing a post every few months, it was more or less dormant till April this year. Since I spend a lot of time on here now, I do think A LOT about my blog and blogging. The thoughts I have range from amusing to down right bitchy (oops!). Here are some of the thoughts I frequently have, I hope you can relate –
- Commenting on a really good post – *DAYUUUUM!* “Why do my comments read like I’m having a fangirl moment with a crush?”
- Making a new blogger friend – “YAYAY, you’re the same kind of weird as I am!”
- Reading girl’s comments (read as: compliments) on other girl’s posts – “Wow, this is the e-version of drunk girls incessantly complimenting each other in pub washrooms!”
- Reading food blogs – *stomach grumbles* “Adding this to my never ending To-Be-Baked list that I conveniently forget about whenever I’m struggling to find a recipe to bake next!”
- Reading book blogs – “HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE READING 25 BOOKS A MONTH?!? Am I a slacker in my reading habits too? Should I really be posting about reading 2 books in a month?” *Overthink overthink overthink*
- Everytime I’m tagging a blogger – *beads of sweat rolling down my forehead* “Have I gotten her name right? Is that the spelling? Something doesn’t seem right!! Let me cross-check for the 20th time – I don’t want to end up offending my only reader.”
- Reading comments from my blogging family – “Awww, she actually remembered that detail about me? That is the sweetest thing ever. I’m not crying, you’re crying!”
- Everytime I comment and offer to show someone around my city whenever (and if) they visit – “Does this make me sound like a creep? What if they think I’m a kidnapper? What if I’m giving off bogeyman vibes? Maybe I shouldn’t sound so eager! Argh, now I sound like a low-key serial killer.”
- Everytime I read a teenager’s blog – “Wow, I was off playing pretend Quidditch at that age and they’re running a successful blog!”
- Seeing my stats and wondering what I’m doing wrong. Reads post about ‘How to run a successful blog’. – “Ah, all of that. SEO WHO?”

I have a lot of weird thoughts but I’m hoping you resonate with atleast a few! Let me know some of your recurring thoughts you have while blogging in the comments.
Stay safe and blog on! β€οΈ

These made me chuckle π I totally understand the obsessing over stats and comparing to other bloggers. Sometimes I have to tell myself to calm down lol.

This post was so spot on. It’s like you’re reading my thoughts! I can totally relate to being obsessed with the stats- I have a mental breakdown over my monthly numbers on a daily basis haha.

I can read a single book for a year! And these book bloggers deserve an award from my side.
Is there a part 3??π

Yes, SEO who! Tell me about it. My business plan has fairly good SEO tools built in but I always feel as if I should be doing more. My blog name is fairly unique so I rank well but there’s just so much more to it.
As for the bloggers who read +25 books a month, I don’t even have the room for that many! I’m in an apartment so keep a drawer for all my books. All I can do at this point!

Same, I’ve run out of place in my house so I store them in boxes in my storage! But that doesn’t deter me from buying even more books though I have started reading more on my kindle now.
SEO will always be an enigma to meee! π
