It was a normal Sunday morning, I woke up late and didn’t feel like leaving the warmth of my blanket. I had barely even registered being awake when I noticed my phone abuzz with messages. And then I saw this..
I was in the Sunday magazine published by a leading Indian newspaper (albeit it was just for my opinion on the 10 new episodes of the show Sex and The City). Before you start wondering how I made it here – my friend is on the editorial team of the magazine and knew that I was a big fan of the original show and asked me to be a part of the article.
It hasn’t been the funnest past few weeks – this was definitely what I needed to cheer me up. Also, I’ve had THE biggest crush on bollywood actor – Rahul Khanna and I got to share the page with him! *Can’t stop beaming*

Okay, I read the article! First, congrats! How fun. And second, I had NO idea they were doing a reboot without Samantha. Whaaaa!? While I’m not a huge fan, and can’t really speak about it too intelligently, I agree with both of your POVs. I’ve watched the movies because my friends were big fans, and I’ve seen a season or two? But anyways…
On the one hand, I’m with you, how will they write her off? But I agree with Reeti as well – she was a major and mature force. I try to compare it to Friends or The Wizard of Oz or another TV show where each character represents a slightly exaggerated aspect of a personality type, so without Sam… we don’t have that archetype. Unless they introduce a new character… What do you think?
