Sustainable Make-Up Habits (On The Cheap)

I know we all love ourselves some good make-up and skin care products. We also love buying all them new releases that these brands keep throwing at us. But how often do we end up not using all of the products we buy? I honestly feel like I’ve never seen a friend or family member…

Great post!! I honestly never knew how much dangerous chemicals existed in make-up until very recently! I don’t wear much make-up in general but your suggestions of small or single sizes makes total sense re: unnecessary waste! Thanks for keeping me informed! Also, great site!!! 🙂

Thank you so much for checking it out! Means a lot! ❤
I mainly use a lot of lipcolours and end up wasting so much product since I'm never able to use it all in less than 2 years – but minis work so much better for me.

  5. Most of my makeup has expired throughout lockdown and I’ve been in need of buying some more. This post was the advice i needed to start making better choices and less waste. Especially mini sizes and single palettes, thank you so much. I need to do more research into affordable cruelty free makeup as well!

Glad you are interested in minimal make up! A lot of male up is actually bad for the skin. I made a lot of lifestyle changes years ago and realized I can actually live with less makeup. My make up is just one lipstick which I pull out for occasions, and a daily lip balm or Vaseline. It has cut so much clutter and given me less to tidy which is quite wonderful!
