I’ve been churning out post after post over the past few days. There are multiple reasons for doing that, though mainly it has to do with changes that are coming to this blog. In November I put out a poll asking all of you to help me decide the direction in which this blog should go – help with deciding a few particular niches and a new name etc. While I’ve been too busy these last two months to do anything about it but I have been working on those changes.
The reason why I’ve been posting every day is to get some posts out of the way that were in my drafts mostly completed waiting to be posted. I was also trying to understand which days and times work best for my posts. I was also trying to gauge real time reception of the different topics I write about. While I haven’t gotten around to posting all the drafts I had ready but I’m looking forward to making changes to this blog starting January 2022.

The most popular topics that you all picked from my poll post were –
- Personal blog posts – about me, my life, my struggles, dating stories etc.
- Blogging journey – how is it going, how am I growing (am I even 😛 ), advice etc.
The other topics that got votes where –
- Travel posts – Given the current circumstance I’ve been travelling far less so I will still post about travel – but it will be less
- Sustainability – I love writing about sustainability but I’ll probably shift the sustainability content to my brand’s blog but keep doing some challenges on here
- Reviews of books/TV Shows – I’ll be keeping these but limit their frequency to once a month
Posting schedule –
While I have tried to do 3 posts a week since 2020, it came down to 2 posts a week in the last 2 months. Since I don’t want to overburden myself, I will stick to 2 posts a week and when I have the time – a bonus weekend post!
Posting days – Tuesday and Thursday/Friday (Bonus post on Sunday)
Blog Identity –
I’ve been thinking about moving away from ‘Happy Panda’ towards a name that would be taken more seriously but every single one of you said that I should stick to Happy Panda, so that is what I’m going to do! 🙂
What is happening in January 2022?
I will be focusing to build a niche for Happy Panda. I’ll also be taking part in WP’s Bloganuary from time to time. I’ll also be sorting out my blog and giving it an update – appearance wise.
With that Happy Panda is signing off for 2021. Here is wishing you an AMAZING year ahead. May 2022 bring peace, happiness and success to each one of you. I love you all for being with me on this journey through 2021. I look forward to interacting with you in 2022.

You have been on a roll lately. Your poll results fit in with my general feelings. Personal blog posts are the most popular because many of us can identify with the same challenges. It’s the same reason I love certain characters in books. We can empathize with them and wonder how they’ll deal with specific problems.
