I’m back after my short hiatus! Last week was totally crazy and I didn’t have time to check in with my blogging family. But I’m going to catch up on all the blogs I missed reading over the next two days. Thank you all for your kind wishes for my stall at the festival. To be honest, it wasn’t as much a success as I had hoped. It made me realise how far people are from adopting sustainable products and practices. I’ll write more about this later. I did have fun and it was a learning experience for me as a small business owner. I also got to make some valuable connects which will hopefully help my business.

Another milestone was hitting 2k followers on my blog which I randomly realised when I logged in today. I stopped caring about follower count after I realised that it doesn’t matter how many people follow you but how many actually like your blog and want to be a part of your blogging family. I’m grateful to all the lovely bloggers who shower me with unconditional support and have kept me hooked to this platform. ❤️

Give me updates on what’s happening in your life. How was your week and what are you looking forward to in this new week?
Your stall looks beautiful!💖
Congrats on 2000+ followers, Di! I’m so happy to have met you through blogging 😊
My week was quite busy. I got my 12th marksheet and also visited the college I may be attending from next month.

Firstly congrats on 2000+ followers! I just stumbled upon your corner of the interwebs. I also have a market stall in Tasmania selling leathergoods, it can vary a bit so don’t be disheartened or take a missed sale personally 😉 Your bags look really nice and colourful, I hope you do well – you have another new follower 😀

Thank you so much for your kind words. It’s hard to not get demotivated especially after all the work that went into it, but onwards and upwards. And welcome here. ☺️

I’m sorry people aren’t interested enough in sustainable products. Still, it’s amazing that you showed up and did this!

Much respect for anyone trying to make it as a small business owner.
I’m like you when it comes to raw numbers. We know there are plenty of non-followers and bots in that group anyway. I’m much more concerned about actual people to engage with on the blogs, as that’s what makes this a fun hobby.

Definitely. I really appreciate how good you are at engaging with other bloggers and the level of engagement you get on your blog. It’s really something. 👏

Salutations to you for being what you are…for following your passion. Yes, ‘ sustainable ‘ will take time but it will certainly catch up with plastic products being rightfully banned.I am sure with your “go getter” attitude you will get the customers too.
Congratulations for hitting 2000.
Stay blessed. 🌹🌹🌹

Congrats on 2k! I agree, engagement is much more telling than the number of followers! On my blog I seem like I have it all together but tbh, it’s been quite something trying to get that motivation each week to churn out a post… I have been toying with a blogging break for months now but my streak is past the 18 month mark and I can’t seem to break it…. *sigh… We’ve just had a ton of back-to-back sicknesses in my house so it’s been quite taxing for me trying to balance work-from-home with a sick kid and then the daily commute and everything else that comes along with pandemic living…. sorry you didn’t get the turn out you had hoped but it looks like a lovely set up! 🙂
