I have been obsessed with the idea of Banaras for years now. I don’t remember how the obsession started (probably thanks to Instagram) but for the last 5-6 years I have longed to go to Banaras to just sit on the ghats and soak in the spirituality. I am not a religious person but I am a spiritual person and I really enjoy the spirituality that engulfs popular holy places.
